Journal of Hoodology was created to highlight the contributions that Hood culture, and those in it, have to offer to all sectors of society.
By making a scholarly appearance, hoodology presents itself to be researched with the same respect and rigor as other academic fields of study.
Our mission is to provide an authentic, collective, comprehensive perspective of the Hood experience to an audience of researchers and members of Hood culture, alike. This is a call for fellow hoodologists to speak up and come together to further educate our academic peers, while impacting our communities, by centering on the true value of Hood culture and the people in it. This journal was established to publish high-quality, innovative papers that contribute to the development of theories and innovative methods that aim to advance and secure the existence of hoodology in academia.
