[DISCUSSION] Snoop Dogg – No Limit Top Dogg (25 Years Later)

The Long Beach rapper released his fourth studio album on May 11th, 1999, via No Limit and Priority Records. His second album since the departure from Death Row and taking the “Doggy” out of his name, No Limit Top Dogg debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 187,000 copies in its first week in the United States, only being second to Ricky Martin’s self-titled album.

The album is notable for returning to the West Coast sound with production from Dr. Dre, DJ Quik or Ant Banks after the No Limit debut Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told from 1998 was mainly handled by No Limi In-House producers.
