Rod Wave arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Rod Wave is back in legal issues once again, amid him still being one of the hottest artists in Florida. This time, this involves another arrest.

According to The Neighborhood Talk, Rod Wave has reportedly been arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Furthermore, a new mug shot of him has also surfaced, where it stated the latest charge against him.

Rod’s previous arrest came back in April 2022, when he was arrested for choking his ex-girlfriend, and the mother of his children. That incident occurred in his hometown of St. Petersburg, FL. Moreover, that resulted in a felony charge of battery by strangulation. That even caused Rod to push his “Jupiter’s Diary: 7 Day Theory” album to be pushed back to November of that year.

Rod Wave’s last project arrived in 2023, which was his “Nostalgia” album. That contained 18 new songs, including collaborations with 21 Savage, Wet, and Sadie Jean. As a result, that became his third straight number one album. Four out of his last five studio albums have debuted within the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.
