When the police make the news, normally something bad has happened. Thankfully, there was one officer of the law actually serving his community. In an ideal world, a neighborhood cop is more of an ally than the enemy. As a result, there needs to be a positive bond between members of the community and law enforcement. One man approached a cop car and began dancing in front of him. As a result, the cop got out of the car, and began dancing too.

Because of how things are portrayed in the media, innocent people get lumped into categories. While some officers have abused the law, not every cop is like that. This particular officer proved this with how friendly he was with the man who approached him. There are many ways to combat crime and one way is to get to know the people in the neighborhood. If a mutual bond, built off respect, can exist, there’s a chance that crime can be prevented.

Sometimes, it’s good to just have some fun and get a good laugh. One man saw a cop in his neighborhood and put him up to the ultimate challenge. The man walks up to the cop’s car, which was parked at a local neighborhood lot. When he walked up, he immediately began dancing in front of the car. As a result, the officer got out of the car, and stood eye-to-eye with the man. After that, the cop began dancing, accepting his invite to do the dance-off.
