20 years ago DMX released his fifth album Grand Champ. The album would end up being the last album DMX released through Def Jam while he was alive. The album features production from the usual Ruff Ryder’s crew along with an appearance by Kanye and No I.D. on Dogs Out and We Go Hard respectively.

The album also had features from various Ruff Ryders members like Jadakiss, Styles P and Eve along with members of DMX’s Bloodline Records crew. 50 Cent and Cam’ron both make an appearance, both of them having created their own movements in recent years. The album would be DMX’s fifth number one album and it would also be his last.
