Seen a comment on Vince Staples Norf Norf who said “if you ain’t from LB or the hood you have no connection to this song” and it reminded me when Feefo from DEHH said he didn’t relate to some album.

This is dumb ass hell to me, I get saying there’s no perspective, or it’s boring nothing original. But not relating? How is that a barrier? Is it cuz you can’t phathom the situation and the feelings involved so you feel like you can’t understand how the artist feels?

If you only listened to music you related to it probably be XXX’s 17 on repeat. But no you listen to albums bout moving coke, and having diamond watches.
