22 Jan YFN Lucci Requests Bond In Alleged Murder Case So That He Could Financially Support His Mother & Children (Update)
Roomies, it appears that YFN Lucci is trying to have his bond reduced due to his children. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Lucci asked the judge to set a reasonable bond because he has “four underaged children whom he financially supports.” In addition, Lucci claims to financially support his mother, who lives in Fulton County, GA.
Last week we reported that his bond was denied during his first court hearing via Zoom. Lucci was represented by his attorney Drew Findling, who attempted to argue the rapper’s charges, focusing on the aggravated assault claim. His lawyer stated during the hearing, “His role, specifically in the conduct that gave rise to the aggravated assault, and then subsequently the felony murder, which will include him allowing the occupants of his vehicle, him being the driver of the subject vehicle, to actually get out of the vehicle, fire multiple rounds, and then drive off with those occupants.”
Drew continued, “Based on what the court has before it in the affidavits for all the warrants, there’s more than enough to continue and to find probable cause of this juncture.” As we previously reported, Lucci is behind bars due to his alleged involvement in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams. On January 14th, we reported audio of the 911 call obtained by TMZ that led to the felony murder warrant for Lucci’s arrest. The woman on the line described to the authorities that a man took his last breath after being thrown from a moving vehicle.
The Atlanta woman who made the call last month says she saw a white SUV speeding by “with a man hanging out of the car.” She told authorities the man was then shoved onto the street and noticed he had suffered a bullet wound to the head. “That man just took his last breath,” she said. “We were walking down the street, and somebody just rolled down the street with a man hanging out the car. They just pushed him out of the truck and left him for dead.”
