22 Jan Nas Drops ’27 Summers’ Video
Escobar season continues.
Nas reflects on his legacy while living the good life in the video for “27 Summers” off his Grammy-nominated album King’s Disease. In the Jon J.-directed clip, a dapper Nas shows off his lavish digs before heading to the golf course where he meets up with DJ Khaled and Steve Stoute.
While teeing off atop a Hennessy bottle, Nas reflects on his long career. “27 summers in a row of being relevant,” he says while Khaled celebrates Nas’ “timeless” music. “It don’t matter. The summer is ours every year.”
The 47-year-old rap icon then cruises through Miami’s South Beach in the back of a vintage Rolls-Royce while smoking a cigar.
The Hit-Boy-produced song appears on Nas’ album King’s Disease, which is nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys. Nas previously released videos for “Replace Me” with Don Toliver and Big Sean and “Spicy” featuring Fivio Foreign and A$AP Ferg.
