Donald Trump Heard On Tape Begging Georgia Secretary Of State To ‘Find’ Votes To Flip Election (Audio)

TSR Politics: Whew, Donnie is really not trying to go out without a fight. An hour-long phone call in which Trump could be heard begging Georgia’s secretary of state to overturn the election results in his favor went viral today.

Excerpts of the call, which took place Saturday, were first published by the Washington Post earlier today and obtained by NBC News Sunday afternoon. Trump could be heard going off on state officials while telling them to go “find” the votes that prove he won the election, and even threatened criminal consequences should he refuse to overturn the vote.

“The people of Georgia are angry. The people in the country are angry,” Trump told Georgia’s Secretary Brad Raffensperger. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.”

Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel, Ryan Germany, pushed back against Trump’s claims and said President-elect Joe Biden’s victory of more than 12,700 votes was, in fact, accurate.

Raffensperger responded, “Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is the data you have is wrong.”

In a separate exchange, Trump tells Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”

Trump is now being called out for being caught trying to pressure election officials to change the election. You can hear a portion of the exchange below:

Trump better start making peace with reality soon now that even his Republican counterparts in Georgia are letting him know it’s just not going to happen for him.

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are expected to take office on the 20th of this month.

We’ll keep you posted with any updates.
