In May 2020, Gunna released his sophomore album, ‘Wunna.’ This project did very well with it’s sales as it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was also led by singles such as “Skybox” and “Dollaz On My Head” feat. Young Thug.

Now, the YSL rapper isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Early on Sunday morning, Gunna took to Twitter to say “New year new money new album.” This immediately led to excitement on Twitter as fans pondered on what the title and official release date of the album will be.

Gunna is also making noise for his feature on Nav’s “Young Wheezy” song which was released last month. This appeared on Nav’s ‘Emergency Tsumani’ album with super producer, Wheezy. “Heatin Up” by Lil Baby was another record that Gunna appeared on a year ago as well.
