Soul, Pixar’s latest hit, which debuted on Christmas Day on Disney+, unquestionably gave viewers the “feels,” making it one of the most heartwarming movies of the season. 

The movie follows a jazz musician named Joe Gardner, the first Black protagonist in a Pixar movie, portrayed by Jamie Foxx, who goes on a soul-searching journey after he had a near-death experience. Joe becomes the unlikeliest of friends with 22, a soul trapped in the Great Before, portrayed by Tina Fey.
