04 Dec Lil’ Kim Shows Love To Megan Thee Stallion & Mulatto As She Discusses The ‘Lyricist Of The Year 2020 Bracket Challenge’
The female rap game has been at an all-time high over the past couple of years and we’re seeing unity from the women like never before. When it comes to dropping a new single, fashion collaborations, or even awards, women are celebrating each other. There is always a debate about who is the best rapper and Genius created the Lyricist of the Year 2020 Bracket Challenge, where fans can vote for their favorite lyricist.
Legendary rappers Lil’ Kim & Twista sat down with Genius’ VP of Content Strategy Rob Markman and talked about some of the best in the game and who deserved the title of ‘Lyricist of the Year.’ Lil’ Kim wasted no time in saying how much she loved Megan Thee Stallion and Mulatto.
Kim said, “Megan been my top girl. I just love Megan. I love her story. I love how she came up. I love that she loves music the way she does, I love how hard she goes, I love how she got a little bit of edge like myself, you know what I mean. She can hang out with the guys. I love that.”
Kim didn’t just stop there. She expressed the similarities between her and ‘The Queen Of The Souf’ Mulatto. “Believe it or not, Mulatto, she reminds me a lot of myself too.” She and Rob agreed that Mulatto talks slick, and she talks like a dude, and Kim loves that.
Both Meg and Big Latto have been holding it down and killing the game. Meg’s debut album ‘Good News’ has already been going crazy and has been at the top of the charts. According to Billboard, she has been named the first woman with three number one streaming songs this year.
Big Latto’s single ‘Muwop’ featuring Gucci Mane also charted at number four on the Billboard top 100. Roommates, would y’all like to hear Megan or Mulatto collaborate with Lil’ Kim?
