Jeremih To Be Released From ICU Following Battle With COVID-19

#Roommates, Jeremih had fans on high alert after it was announced that he contracted COVID-19 and was in very serious condition in the hospital. Well, fast forward to the present—and Jeremih’s condition has improved so much that he is officially being released from ICU and returning home to continue his recovery.

Jeremih’s close friend and fellow artist, Chance The Rapper, revealed the encouraging news on Twitter in a series of tweets updating fans on his condition. As you may recall, Chance was one of the first celebrities to ask for prayers for Jeremih when his condition was publicly revealed.

Chance tweeted the following:

“I am filled with praise right now I just heard my brother Jeremih’s voice on the phone for the first time in almost a month he will be out the hospital tomorrow we give all glory to the Father in Jesus name. Thank you to the medical staff at northwestern and thank you to everyone who held him up in prayer even when it seemed so grim. We are a testimony.”

As we previously reported, Jeremih was recently transferred from ICU and headed to another facility to recover from his COVID-19 symptoms. Initial reports at the time stated “Jeremih has been transferred out of the ICU he was being treated at last week and is now going to spend the rest of his recovery in a regular hospital setting, where the “true healing” is set to begin.”

We’re happy that he is on the road to recovery and continue to keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
