Last weekend, Snoop Dogg performed at the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr fight and put on a show. He also provided hilarious commentary for this epic matchup along with Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson. Now, the west coast legend is planning to start his own professional boxing league.
The fights last weekend were aired on Triller and Snoop will be teaming up with its co-owner, Ryan Kavanaugh, to form The Fight Club. (No, not from the actual Fight Club film) He spoke with TMZ Sports as they already have huge fights they’re trying to line up. Expect artists, boxers, actors, and more to participate in these fights.
“This is gonna be big. The whole idea is we want to change up the way that boxing is done. I can tell you that the main fight — I can’t say it yet — but it’s gonna be something that everybody wants to see. If you thought [Tyson vs. Jones Jr.] is big, I think that this would be even larger from a worldwide-appetite perspective and something that people want to see.”
To fans’ enjoyment, Snoop will be commentating these fights as well. Time will only tell when the action will officially kick off, though.
