02 Dec Haskiri Velazquez On Her New Film “What Lies Below,” “Saved By The Bell,” New York & More
On December 4, 2020, Vertical Entertainment will release the supernatural thriller What Lies Below via on-demand and digital outlets. Written by Braden R. Duemmler, who is also making his directorial feature debut, the film features Ema Horvath (Don’t Look Deeper), Trey Tucker (The Space Between Us), Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and Haskiri Velazquez (Saved by the Bell) in its main roles.
Without giving too much away, in What Lies Below, Liberty — a socially-awkward 16-year-old — returns from two months at camp to a blindsided introduction of her Mother’s fiancé John Smith. Smith’s charm, intelligence and good lucks paint the picture of a man too perfect to be human. An official trailer for the action-packed film is embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
I had the pleasure of interviewing the aforementioned Haskiri Velazquez on December 2, 2020 about What Lies Below and her work on the recently-rebooted Saved By The Bell. More on Velazquez is online via www.instagram.com/haskiri, while What Lies Below can be pre-ordered here.
