On Tuesday, the categories and nominees were announced for the Grammy Awards in February. There were plenty of snubs such as in the R&B Album Of The Year category and The Weeknd not being nominated at all.
Cardi B is nominated for Best Rap Performance for her feature on her husband Offset’s 2019 “Clout” single. This comes a year after she won her first Grammy for Best Rap Album for her 2018 debut studio album, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’ Now, she is going at it with Wiz Khalifa after agreeing with a fan that was throwing shade at her.
Wiz discussed being snubbed by the GRAMMYs as an artist in general and said “As a grammy nominated artist I know how it feels. N*ggas always think its unfair until they get their turn. Just keep workin and that time’ll come through.” A man soon replied to that saying “Cardi wining a Grammy when nicki minaj didn’t is the biggest proof that they don’t know a shit bout music.” Wiz then replied saying “Most self made artists have this problem.”
Cardi took offense to this as she posted a screenshot from a 2016 Instagram DM he sent her right before she saw huge fam which had words of encouragement. Cardi said of the tweet that “This was Nikkas in my dms in 2016!They really support you when you grinding at the bottom then it’s a different story when you make it!”
Wiz calmly replied how this was good advice that he gave her and nothing’s changed. He did emphasize that Cardi is self-mad as well. Hopefully, the two don’t have any issues with each other moving forward.

I don’t understand why niggas entertain tweets that pit successful women against each other? Ya not tired of that? Specially when ya was rooting hard when a bitch was at the bottom.
