28 Nov Lil Wayne Put All Three Of His Sons On ‘No Ceilings 3’ (Audio)
I’m about to start calling people’s bluff on “cancel culture” because despite Lil Wayne’s fans being upset with him after he seemingly endorsed Donald Trump for president in the election, his highly anticipated “No Ceilings 3” was all people were talking about Friday night.
Weezy dropped the project and within an hour, several of the tracks were trending on Twitter.
Fans seemed to be content with Wayne, claiming he was giving “mixtape Weezy” vibes.
Wayne had several features on there, including his good friend Drake and fellow Young Money rapper Gudda Gudda.
But probably the most unexpected features came from his sons.
Weezy has three boys–Dwayne Carter III, Kameron Carter and Neal Carter–all of whom apparently share an interest in music like their father.
Lil Wayne gave credits to his kids for being on his songs, but the one track fans kept buzzing about featured Kam Carter, whom Wayne shares with Lauren London.
Kam dropped some impressive bars for an 11-year-old. Lauren revealed he wrote and helped produce his song.
The catchy hook goes, “Young Kam Carter, my flow is harder. Young Kam Carter, my flow is water.”
He embodied his father’s rhyme skills with the first few bars he dropped: “Young Kam Carter and I got a lot to say. My daddy from New Orleans and my mama from LA. I drive to the paint, like I’m Dr. J. Got a triple double just the other day.”
He continued, “They ask me if I’m Kobe ‘cause I hit the fade-away. Just scored a three-pointer like I’m BJ. Shout out to my sister Reginae.”
Take a listen below:
Lauren shared how proud she was of her first born’s skills:
