17 Dec Pastor Jamal Bryant Responds With 24-Minutes Of ‘Clarity’ & Vague Denials After Monique Samuels’ Shocking Binder-Full-Of-Allegations Took Over The RHOP Reunion
Pastor Jamal Bryant took a break from the New Birth Baptist Church pulpit to respond to “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Monique Samuels’ (and his ex father-in-law’s) jaw dropping accusations about cheating, outside babies and more during Jamal and Gizelle Bryant’s renewed relationship. Get it inside.
Whew chile, the mess. But before you get into Pastor Jamal’s “RHOP” reunion benediction, let’s revisit the bombs Monique Samuels dropped this past Sunday night:
Good morning. Happy Tuesday! Let’s all revisit the slay of the century, shall we? #RHOP pic.twitter.com/VMbOhl3TWC

The faces on everyone, especially Andy Cohen, should tell you everything you need to know. While a lot of these receipts aren’t new news to MANY of us who have been speaking about these allegations for over a year, it’s still a whole mess for it to be aired out on national TV. And in Gizelle’s face.
It’s also important to note that Gizelle and Monique’s rocky relationship was pretty much irreconcilable as soon as Monique learned this season that her former friend GG (and possibly Cherisse) started/repeated a rumor that Monique’s youngest son isn’t Chris’ but a trainer’s, a trainer Monique supposedly cheated with. Everyone is aware this is a lie, but Gizelle, being who she is, used this random rumor – that we heard nowhere else except for when Gizelle brought it to the table – to concoct a plan to get it on the show with the sole purpose of ruining Monique’s life. For whatever reason – likely because Bravo knew it was a lie and wasn’t trying to suffer legal consequences – the other women nor Bravo participated in Gizelle’s disgusting plot.
So it’s no surprise Monique’s binder had a whole section of smoke for Gizelle.
Recently, Jamal took to Zoom to plead his case to the people. He brought out a binder – mimicking Monique – and said he was delayed in doing this video because he and his “Black Church Pac” have been canvassing for his Morehouse brother Rev. Warnock in the GA runoff. He said his ex-wife turned boo-again Gizelle requested that he not respond, but since “mounting moments” have happened in social media, he decided that he needed to speak so “his silence is not confused with consent.”
He said he’s not giving an apology or confession or asking for forgiveness, but he’s offering clarity. It’s important to note, in this 24 minute video, he still doesn’t address Monique’s receipts of him having an entire relationship with another woman while claiming to be in one with Gizelle, he doesn’t address his former father-in-law (who is also his fraternity brother) saying he has multiple newborns out there and babies on the way (just says he respects his elders and in-laws), and he doesn’t address the incessant cheating accusations.
If you pay attention to the words he used, you’ll notice he said he did have a relationship with a woman last year, but he’s not engaged or married so she wasn’t a “mistress”. Oh? We’re aware, but Gizelle certainly alluded to them being in an exclusive relationship and working on being back together. He said he and this woman in the texts have never been in each other’s home – but he didn’t say they’ve never been in a bed together elsewhere like Monique’s texts proved. He then went on to allude that that “young lady” eventually wanted a job and was upset that Pastor Jamal told her she and her dissertation didn’t qualify. He claims 25 of the 27 “blogs” this woman sent these receipts to didn’t even post them.
What he DID conveniently mention is his non-support of reality tv because it “doesn’t represent the best of us.” He agreed to be on it this season against his better judgment. He says he regrets participating and never will be on “RHOP” again. Mmhmm.
Pastor Bryant spent a long while saying there’s been a misrepresentation of his character. He didn’t name how – other than saying he didn’t abandon his girls at that photoshoot he missed during the finale (and no one on social media said he did). He also goes on and on about how his girls are Daddy’s girls and he does actually have a relationship with them. Yet, no one said he didn’t. Folks – including Gizelle and Monique – simply said their daughters don’t want them together. That has nothing to do with him as a father.
Jamal also said he has no babies in his (current) church and no relationships with women in his (current) church. Neither Monique nor Gizelle’s father said these indiscretions occurred within his current church.
Jamal said, “You can’t bring me receipts if I’m the cash register.” Yes, but Monique had Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and more. And that cash register wasn’t needed.
Jamal accused Monique’s husband Chris of having CTE and told him he needs to “take care of it”. He messily said he spoke to Chris’ past teammates who allegedly told him to “help Chris.” He also claims he has footage of Chris allegedly verbally assaulting a black woman in Safeway grocery store last week.
Chile…
Jamal’s 24 minutes of talk was a nothing burger, and was a typical, manipulative, all-talk-while-saying-nothing heap of “info.” All while ending his discussion by saying he needs to leave out so he can go help feed families and campaign.
“I’m not called to entertainment, I’m called to empowerment,” he said. Oh, ok. We guess that’s why he ended with the thinly veiled threat of, “I live in Atlanta, but I’m from Baltimore.”
With pastors like these….
