Back in 2014-2015, Fetty Wap was a superstar. He broke out with his “Trap Queen” single as six years later, is now certified diamond by the RIAA. He also released his self-titled debut album in the fall of 2015 which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is 2x platinum. Other hits on that project were “679” feat. Monty and “RGF Island.”
Many believe that Fetty has fallen off has an artist heavily since then due to him not having a huge record since Trap Queen. The New Jersey rapper is finally addressing this debate as he did so in an Instagram comment. The user said “I actually don’t know how u fell off.”
Fetty went on to cite how he’s had bad business managers, etc. He is very confident that he’s about to be on his way up again, though.
“Bad business managers… greed and selfishness… but it’s almost over. “I got rid of all that goofy shit around me … now I can focus on the music … and I’m goin tf up just watch.”
Last week, Fetty did come through with a new project as it was his ‘You Know The Vibes’ mixtape. This has 14 tracks with appearances by Monty and Styles P.
