25 Nov Cardi B Blasts Wiz Khalifa Over Shady Grammy Tweet
Cardi B is calling out Wiz Khalifa for his shady tweet.
During a Twitter Q&A following the Grammy nominations, Wiz responded to fans who were unhappy with the nominees, including one who took issue with Cardi B winning a Grammy before Nicki Minaj.
“cardi wining a Grammy when nicki minaj didn’t is the biggest proof that they don’t know a shit bout music,” tweeted the user.
Wiz retweeted the comment and offered his take. “Most self made artists have this problem,” he added.

It wasn’t long before Cardi saw Wiz’s tweet and clapped back, sharing a screenshot from a four-year-old DM she received from the Taylor Gang MC. “This was Nikkas in my dms in 2016!” she said. “They really support you when you grinding at the bottom then it’s a different story when you make it !”
She later added, “I don’t understand why ni**as entertain tweets that pit successful women against each other? Ya not tired of that? Specially when ya was rooting hard when a bitch was at the bottom.”

Offset also stepped in to defend his wife in a cryptic tweet seemingly aimed at Wiz. “Ni**as be hoes !!!! Smh,” he wrote.

Neither Wiz nor Cardi was nominated for any Grammys at the 63rd annual ceremony. Cardi, who won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019, decided not to submit her Megan Thee Stallion-assisted hit “WAP” for any categories, instead choosing to wait until the 2022 Grammys when she releases her sophomore album.
