After years of being a musical mastermind, T-Pain is ready to let his genius do its thing in the restaurant industry! If you didn’t know, this lane isn’t new to T-Pain. His latest venture is a step in his parents’ shoes, who owned a restaurant during his childhood. After receiving the key to his new place of business, T-Pain highlighted the moment across his social platforms!

“I DID IT BOIS!!!! I’m officially a restaurant owner. Got my keys today and I’m scared as sh*t. BUT! I can no longer ignore the paths God has set for me just because I don’t understand or I’m scared,” T-Pain wrote on Instagram.

Extensive details on the restaurant are next to none. T-Pain has seemingly kept the restaurant name, location, and opening date to himself. However, he did speak on the impact of the purchase.

“I’ve learned that if I’m not afraid, that means I’m in my comfort zone, that may be what some ppl want but as comfortable as it is in there, it also gets fuggen BORING,” T-Pain wrote. “In this new chapter of my life, I’m taking the leap on anything I truly love and believe in. I’m fully in control and don’t have to ask for permission to believe in myself anymore. Let this be a sign to GO DO THE THING!! If you’re not afraid, you’re too comfortable.”

Legacy Things! T-Pain Shares Photos Of His Parents’ First Restaurant

On both his Insta and Twitter profiles, T-Pain also shared throwback photos of his parents and himself at their first restaurant. From the looks of it, his parents’ place was named Fish-N-D-Pocket. The artist revealed that he “grew up” in the restaurant and knew the risks, the stressfulness, and the success rate.

While thanking his supporters, he also addressed any negativity thrown his way.

“Thank you everybody for your support, kind words, encouragement, and though, it may not seem like it, I also appreciate the concern BUT, pls don’t project your own fears on to me,” T-Pain tweeted. “Let me shoot my shot without you telling me why you’re afraid to shoot yours. The ppl that end up succeeding are the ones who can see through all the discouragements and go on to persevere.”

T-Pain shared how his father’s handling of their family restaurant inspires him in a series of follow-up tweets.

My dad and I would pick up supplies for the restaurant every week and I know how scattered his mind was trying to balance all his different lives at once, but he was strong and he made a promise to the family that he was determined to keep, and I got that same fire in me. (4/7)

T-Pain Reveals His Favorite Memory About His Parents’ Place

The producer ended his Twitter commentary with his favorite memory of his parents’ ownership.

“My favorite memory is when the local news came to interview my dad about the restaurant and one of the questions was “So, Y did you decide to name ur restaurant “Fish N D Pocket”?” My dad’s crazy a*s goes: “Well when you own something u can name it whatever the f*ck u want,” T-Pain tweeted. “The reporter was immediately like “ok I think we got what we need.”

I was a kid and I had always heard my dad talk like that so I didn’t understand why that was so fuckin hilarious at the time but I feel you dad. I feel you #WelcomeTo5ive#ThatsJustTips@NappyBoyEnt @NBRadioPodcast@NappyBoyGaming#NappyBoyAutomotive#NappyBoyFilms (7/7)
