Coi Leray Wants To “Take Notes” From Kanye & Drake After Her Album Delays

Music fans have anticipated new releases from Kanye West and Drake after multiple announcements dates and 3 stadium listening sessions. On Sunday, August 29, Ye finally dropped DONDA.

While it became an immediate trending topic, the spotlight was hijacked by Drake’s Certified Lover Boy announcement just 24 hours later.

After two of the year’s most highly anticipated projects, rising star, Coi Leray is pleased for her album’s delay. She took to Twitter on Monday to express her gratitude.

“Glad my album ain’t drop. Between drake and Kanye, sheesh,” tweeted Coi. “Everything happens for a reason. This gives me more time to tighten up.

She adds how she can learn from this experience.

“Maybe take some notes from the both of them.”

Earlier this year, the New Jersey native received her first platinum song with the Lil Durk assisted, “No More Parties.” Now she gearing up to go on tour with The Voice of Hero artists, Lil Baby and Lil Durk.

According to the “Slide” artist, she’s “busting her a**” to put on the best show. The “Back Outside” Tour begins in Coi’s birthplace, Boston, MA on September 1st.
