02 Dec Feds Claim Casanova Trafficked Crack Cocaine In And Around NYC–Faces Up To Life In Prison With A Mandatory Minimum Of 10 Years (Exclusive Details)
TSR Exclusive Details: Casanova is currently presumed to be MIA after 17 of his alleged fellow “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” Gang members were arrested today.
Casanova is tied to a RICO case connected to the murder of a 15-year-old among other violent and drug crimes as well as Covid-19 related scams.
But more specifically pertaining to Casanova’s charges, he’s looking at life in prison if convicted with a mandatory minimum of 10 years for allegedly trafficking crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana in and around New York City’s boroughs, according to the 32-page unsealed indictment obtained by The Shade Room.
The feds allege that for at least 10 years, Casanova and his gang members conspired to break narcotics laws and committed violent acts to promote the standing and reputation of Gorilla Stone amongst rival gangs.
The feds are also trying to ding Casanova for allegedly carrying a firearm when he allegedly committed these crimes.
The multi-agency operation involved the FBI as well as several local police departments.
The acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York announced the unsealing of a 16-count indictment today charging the 18 members with various crimes.
The FBI of New York shared that Casanova is now a wanted fugitive, putting out a plea to the public to help with information about his whereabouts on Twitter along with a photo of his mugshot.
“As alleged in the Indictment, members of Gorilla Stone committed terrible acts of violence, trafficked in narcotics, and even engaged in brazen fraud by exploiting benefits programs meant to provide assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss. “Because of that, communities across the Southern District – from Poughkeepsie to Peekskill to New York City – suffered. Most shocking, as alleged in the indictment, a minor was murdered in furtherance of the gang’s activities. Because of the extraordinary work of our law enforcement partners, the defendants now face federal charges for their crimes.”
Less than 24 hours before the charges were announced, Casanova was seen in his Instagram story promoting an IG Live he’d be participating in Tuesday night. He hadn’t addressed any of the allegations and it’s unclear if he will be turning himself in.
We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
