Joe Biden Proves The Future Is Female With His Fierce White House Communications Team + Also, Biden Is Healing Just Fine After Hairline Fracture

President-elect Joe Biden is presenting spaces at the table with his newly announced all-female White House communications team. And we’re HERE for it. Deets on all the female energy that’ll be floating through the White House in 2021 inside…

Long gone are the days where old, white men call all the shots. Well, at least for the next four years.

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are shaking things up at the White House and we’re not mad at it. Not one bit. The nation is about to have an administration they’ve never seen before. It’s the first time in history these White House communication positions have been filled entirely by women.

Biden has chosen ALL females for his communications team – who are all more than qualified for the jobs they’ve been assigned to.

Symone Sanders will be a senior adviser and the chief spokesperson for Harris. She previously served as national press secretary on Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign before joining Biden’s campaign.

Ashley Etienne will serve as Harris’ communications director. She’s a former aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who went on to work for Biden’s campaign. Elizabeth Alexander, who worked for Biden while he was in the Senate before serving as his press secretary while he was vice president, will be Jill Biden’s communications director. Alexander also worked on the Biden campaign.

Also…

Kate Bedingfield will be the White House communications director. She served as Biden’s communications director while he was vice president under the Obama administration, according to Politico.

Jen Psaki will be Biden’s White House press secretary. She served as the White House communications director for the last two years of President Barack Obama’s administration.

Also serving up girl power, Pili Tobar – who worked on Biden’s campaign and previously worked as deputy director of the immigration reform advocacy group America’s Voice – will be the White House deputy communications director.

Karine Jean-Pierre – who served as chief of staff to Vice President-elect Kamala Harris during the campaign – will be the principal deputy press secretary. She previously worked for the advocacy group MoveOn.org.

Joe Biden is building the most diverse cabinet than ever before.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield – a 35-year veteran of the U.S. Foreign Service who has served on four continents – was chosen to serve as the United Nations Ambassador to join the National Security Team. She was President O’s top diplomat on Africa from 2013 to 2017, leading U.S. policy in sub-Saharan Africa during the West Africa Ebola outbreak. It’s reported Biden plans to elevate the position of U.N. ambassador to Cabinet level.

By the way, New Orleans Congressman Cedric Richmond will serve as President-elect Joe Biden’s director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. He once served as the leader of the Congressional Black Caucus.

SWEET!

President-elect Joe Biden picked Obama Foundation president/economist Adewale “Wally” Adeyemo serve as deputy secretary of the Treasury and appointed Princeton professor and economist Cecilia Rouse to chair the Council of Economic Advisers.

In the meantime, we’re going to need Joe Biden to have a seat and CHILL before January 20, 2021.

President-elect Biden reportedly slipped and twisted his ankle while playing with his dog, Major, on Saturday. According to his doctor, a CT scan indicated that Biden has hairline fractures in the “mid-foot” area, which will “likely require a walking boot” for several weeks.

CBS News reports:

“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging,” said Mr. Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, in a statement. “Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot. It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks.”

Mr. Biden visited Delaware Orthopedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon, “out of an abundance of caution.” Mr. Biden arrived around 4 p.m. ET and left around 6:45 p.m., giving a thumbs up to the press outside.

Glad he’s OK! We surely appreciate the transparency unlike our current administration.
