Long gone are the days where old, white men call all the shots. Well, at least for the next four years.
President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are shaking things up at the White House and we’re not mad at it. Not one bit. The nation is about to have an administration they’ve never seen before. It’s the first time in history these White House communication positions have been filled entirely by women.

Ashley Etienne is the Communications Director for MVP Kamala Harris. She’s not new to the game. Etienne was the communications director for the House Oversight Committee under the late Elijah Cummings. Biden-Harris administration has chosen the best! pic.twitter.com/FLVgWZCdUn

In my thirty-five years in the Foreign Service across the world, I put a Cajun spin on it. I call it Gumbo diplomacy.
Wherever I was posted, I’d invite people of all walks then make homemade gumbo. Thats how you break down barriers, connect, and see each-other as humans. pic.twitter.com/Au1Qd7Yczq

NEW: @nbcnews photographer captures @JoeBiden leaving orthopedic office in Delaware where the president-elect was just treated for what his doctor called a sprained right ankle from a fall Saturday. pic.twitter.com/mTYee0BMur

President-elect Biden reportedly slipped and twisted his ankle while playing with his dog, Major, on Saturday. According to his doctor, a CT scan indicated that Biden has hairline fractures in the “mid-foot” area, which will “likely require a walking boot” for several weeks.
CBS News reports:
“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging,” said Mr. Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, in a statement. “Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot. It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks.”
Mr. Biden visited Delaware Orthopedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon, “out of an abundance of caution.” Mr. Biden arrived around 4 p.m. ET and left around 6:45 p.m., giving a thumbs up to the press outside.
We know more about the sprain Biden got playing with his dog this weekend than we do about Trump’s mysterious hospital visit last November, for which the public never got an honest accounting.

Glad he’s OK! We surely appreciate the transparency unlike our current administration.
