11 Jan Dr. Dre Is Still In ICU Care So Doctors Can Find Out Cause of His Brain Aneurysm and To Avoid Second One

A week ago, Dr. Dre was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This was due to a brain aneurysm he suffered and had to be rushed to this hospital immediately. The hip-hop legend has since said he’s doing great and getting excellent care by the medical staff.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

Dre is still at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center though, according to TMZ. Doctors still need to complete more tests on the aneurysm to see what caused this. It’s also being recommended that Dre stays there in the case that another one does appear in his brain. TMZ also added that it’s unclear if Dre has undergone surgery yet.

As of now, Dre is listed as “resting comfortably.” His loved ones were also told that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be on the way. Dre is also trending online due to him agreeing to pay his estranged wife, Nicole Young, $2 million for temporary support and an additional $500,000 to cover attorney fees.
